Training
Science Communication
Anyone working in research should be able to explain quickly and clearly what defines their science and why it is relevant to society. In my (online) workshops, I support researchers in strengthening their visibility in media and social media and in communicating their science with confidence.
Visibility in Science
Visibility in science is crucial for success in academia and for securing funding. Researchers learn five journalistic rules for writing mini-press releases, find out which topics editorial offices are looking for, and learn how to turn complex research into an exciting story through storytelling.
Alternatively, we can optimize your scientific presence online, determine which social media platform best suits you, and explore how you can achieve a greater reach.
Since women appear less frequently as experts in the media and have a lower share of speaking time at events, I frequently collaborate with equal opportunity offices.

Interactive and Practical
I value a trusting and relaxed atmosphere in which we reflect on old beliefs (e.g., “I’m not good enough yet”) and try out new things.
My seminars are always interactive. Using best practices, the group learns from successful examples. With simple rules and many practical tips from my many years of experience as a journalist, we practice implementation so that all participants take away concrete results.
I offer all training sessions in German and English, either in person or online. I would be happy to send you a customized proposal!
Susann Wockenfuß, Equal Opportunity Officer, Office for Equal Opportunities, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main
“Eva Lindner created a space that was both protected for women and inspiring, where participants could address their individual hurdles and questions regarding online presence. With her calm, professional manner, she succeeded in addressing uncertainties and translating them into concrete, everyday strategies. The feedback was consistently positive.”
Gabriele Weber, Federal Foreign Office, former consultant for the "Deutschland Platform" in the International Communication unit.
Sarah Kanning, FAZIT Communication, F.A.Z. Publishing Group
“On behalf of FAZIT Communication, Eva Lindner has held several online seminars on the topics of ‘Foundations of Journalism’, ‘Journalistic Writing’, and ‘Moderation and Self-Presentation in Online Events’ in German and English for the Alumniportal Deutschland (DAAD). Both the client and we were very impressed by Eva Lindner’s impeccable preparation, reliability, and highly professional manner, and we look forward to further opportunities for collaboration.“
Prof. Dr. Katrin Heinze, participant in the seminar "Female Scientists in the Media" as part of the Women's Leadership Program at the University of Würzburg
“I thoroughly enjoyed the media training for female scientists with Eva Lindner. She tailored the topic perfectly and provided many helpful exercises and discussions. The texts I developed will certainly be used here and there, and the techniques I learned will always support me wonderfully. It was a complete success for me!“
